ÇEMSAN BUILDS TURN KEY SWEETENER FACTORIES
STARCH CONVERSIONS - REFINERY
Çemsan may supply all equipments and projects for you for any capacity you need in your territory. We have experienced staff in glucose conversion in terms of project and processing.
GLUCOSE CONVERSION
There are mainly two types of starch conversion reactions.
. Starch hydrolysis by acid conversion
. Starch hydrolysis by enzyme reaction
After the starch liquifaction reaction glucose liqueur passes through primary reactors, glucose reactor loops, to flash cooler system. Depending on glucose conversion ratio, that determines dextrose equivalent, DE of glucose, liqueur is sent to secondary reactors or to secondary flash cooler system. There are mainly two types of reactors available in Çemsan, Tubular Type Flow Reactors and Segmented Type Tank Reactors with special design mixer agitators.
Final properties of glucose liqueur is adjusted in Saccharification Tanks by good control of parameters in QC Laboratories. By means of latest technology laboratory equipments like Osmometers and HPLC's the reactions can be monitored and followed step by step to produce the desired product without mistake.

Çemsan supplies all equipments at desired capacity. Degree of automation in this process is highly important. Although we may construct and run either full automatic or non automatic system with our experiences we recommend full automatic systems for product safety that saves your time and money. We are also offering you support in configuration and supply of QC Laboratory Equipments and techniques.
GLUCOSE FILTRATION
Nowadays the customers asks for glucose liqueur as clean as pure water in the market. New technologies in processing and our new designs makes us capable to do that. Rotary Drum Vacuum Filters and Control Filters are used for removal of proteins and residual of enzymes after glucose conversion reactions. New generation activated carbon applications improves the removal of smaller protein molecules and colourising agents from glucose liqueur.
DEMINERALISATION
Under the pressure of market demands in many ountries Demineralisation process is applied for pure and better quality glucose and maltose production.

Çemsan's well designed demineralisation units with correct choice of resins for glucose maltoze and fructose filtration are highly preferred in new projects to produce liqueur below 50 , 10 and even more less microsiemens conductivity. Although there are non automatic systems available for cost reduction, Çemsan recommends automatic demineralisation units. All valve configurations can be pre-fixed.
EVAPORATION UNIT
_s1_mini.gif) Typically the dry substance, DS, of glucose and maltose liqueur in the market is in between 78-82% and 70-75% for fructose. Çemsan manufactures, installs and runs falling film vacuum glucose evaporators. Depending on choice we my also supply, install and run plate type glucose evaporators in wide range of capacities.
